My Philosophy On Life: I believe that being authentic is the most powerful key to spiritual growth. Anything less than real complicates life and makes us unhappy.
"I have nothing to teach you. I have no belief system, no dogma, or information you need in order to experience deep stillness. I am simply here to reveal an inner awareness that leads you to greater peace and to an awakened state of being.
Everything in life is working together. Everything you need is within you. When you are fully aware of this, you no longer yearn for things to "be" other than who you are. You do not grasp for what you believe you need in order to be real.
Awakening is the awareness that everything you need is here. It is acting and speaking from that awareness rather than from a belief system you have created in your mind. Awakening is experiencing life as it is, recognizing that you are confused and limited by your perceptions.
To rest, to restore, to settle in. When you do this, you remember your relationship with life. This is what I facilitate and guide through each moment -- the entering and living through your own sanctuary of stillness."
My Interests: Art, writing poetry, independent film, feng shui, home and garden, activities with friends, hiking, exploring the world, great wines and gourmet food, entertaining, dancing, and more!
My Inspirations: It is easy to be inspired by great leaders and teachers of the world. However, I find my greatest joys and inspirations through the intimacy of friends and family. I am also inspired by people who rise above suffering, challenges, and struggles against a lot of odds--who become heros in their own lives.
Music I Love: classical, opera, and some new age
Movies I Love: foreign and independent films
TV Shows I Love: CSI (all three), NCIS, Criminal Minds, Numbers (like shows that are scientific or forensic in nature)
Books I Love: I prefer soulful books, books on culture, art, literature, science. Actually, I prefer to write than read.
Places I Love: Islands in the Pacific Northwest, Santa Fe NM, Carmel by the Sea & Big Sur, Europe, Vancouver CA, Australia, New Zealand -- to name a few.
