More About Me
Location: Arundel, West Sussex, England
Occupation: Environmental Consultant (& studying for degree in Nutritional Medicine)
My Philosophy On Life: Stop and smell the flowers
My Interests: Plagued with with a constant need to learn new things (thus the 2nd degree). There's never enough hours in the day. In short: food, cooking, health, ecology, environmental protection, travel, music, day-dreaming, loving my family and friends...........
My Inspirations: Children for enjoying life at even the most unlikely times, my Dad for his inner strength and faith, anyone who embraces life and lives their dream, Michael Palin because he's intelligent, hilarious and has touched almost every corner of the globe
Music I Love: Indie kid at heart. Listening to RIDE still makes me sigh like a teenager and I love The Engineers. Get to gigs whenever I can, but not enough these days. Bloc Party rock my world. I guess The Carpenters and The Eagles are my guilty pleasures (to name a few..!)
Movies I Love: Lots, especially (just about) anything sci-fi. 2001 on the big screen was special. But I'm a sucker for a good comedy too (Bill Murray in King Pin esp). I've watched 'A Room With A View' more times than I care to remember .
TV Shows I Love: Don't watch a great deal of TV because I can't stand the ads and there's usually something much more interesting going on! However, admit to loving 'Heroes' and 'Ashes to Ashes' Aspire to matching up to Felicity Kendal in the 'The Good Life'.
Books I Love: Spend most of my time delving into text books for my degree course. I'd recommend 'Wild Law' by Cormac Cullinan to any budding eco-warriors. If it floats your boat then contact me as the 4th 'Wild Law' conference is in the Peak District in September and looks set to be a good one.
Places I Love: My newly acquired little cottage in the countryside. A welcome break from the hussle and bussle of Brighton. Now the only stressing individuals in my vicinity are the blackbirds seeing off our cat! Head out in the camper a lot to indulge in some wildness as much as possible. Loved Kerala last year too. Had fabulous reiki there. I just love to travel anywhere if I'm honest!
