About Me

I am an English Celt! ( Irish, Welsh & Scottish ancestors)Found my path in life after bringing up two children (I am now a grandmother) and following various careers - shop assistant, wages clerk, accounts, hairdressing, financial adviser, karaoke business and, just before my complimentary therapy training, a publican.
Whatever job I was doing I always enjoyed the comunicating/helping side so I believe the end result was inevitable. Now qualified as a hypnotherapist so using that therapy as well as providing self help tapes.

Occupation: Holistic therapist/Reiki teacher

My Philosophy On Life: Universal Love - one day, hopefully. If we all try hard in our own little way and try to send out love instead of hate and fear - who knows.

My Interests: Reading, writing (had a few articles published) singing, painting, movies, anything to do with spiritual matters, history etc.

My Inspirations: Buddhists

Music I Love: Elton John, Savage Garden, Moody Blues, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Eric Clapton, Shane Ward.

Movies I Love: Forever Young, Beethoven (the dog!), Cheaper by the Dozen, Die Hard, E.T.

TV Shows I Love: Paul O'Grady, Gimme, Gimme, House, Heartbeat.

Books I Love: I have hundreds but anything spiritual and inspirational.

Places I Love: Corfu, Scotland, Lake District (but not so much now it is so touristy)

Quotes I Love: Why not go out on a limb? Isn't that where the fruit is?

Just seen that you have added me as a Friend, thank you. I qualified about 20 odd years ago as a hypnotherapist, and though I am not practising it professionally, continue to have a big interest in matters of the mind and states of consciousness. Have recently moved to Wellingborough, so live quite near to you. June

Hiya,
The festival I attended last year is the One World Festival - it is on again this year in Kent, got an incredible amount of stuff to do and learn. Brilliant feeling about the place. It's on for a week - 6th - 12th Aug. You'd have to contact the organizers to see if they need your skills as a teacher, otherwise you could just pop along and enjoy the week or a few days of it. Tell them Michelle, the gymnastics teacher recommended you. :)
