"You've been walking in circles, searching.
Don't drink by the water's edge.
Throw yourself in.
Become the water.
Only then will your thirst end."

Jeanette Berson

I think this quote is awesome.
It speaks to me of wholehearted commitment and trust the in the divine flow of the universe.
We either commit to that which flows sincerely through our hearts or not.
We'll never truly fulfill our purpose in life if we skirt around the edges afraid to jump in.

Brilliant - but how do you overcome the fear, when fear seems to consume your whole body, making it impossible to "see" ?

That's really lovely. I like this one too.......

And the day came when the risk
to remain tight in a bud was more painful
than the risk it took to blossom.

And the prophet said, 'come to the edge' and the people said, 'no, we might fall'.
and the prophet said, 'come to the edge' and the people said, 'no'.
and the prophet said, 'come to the' and the people came to the edge, and the prophet pushed them, and they flew.

Hi Robyn

I think you're at a 'feel the fear and do it anyway' kind of junction in your life!
I had one of those a couple of weeks ago, still enjoying the aftershocks from diving in. Once you get used to the change in temperature and pressure, it's lovely!

Come on, what's the worst that could happen? I mean, really, take yourself to the edge of the worst case scenario. Where does it take you? You're still here, right?

It's true, it becomes more painful to hang around wondering, everything locked up tight inside you, than to simply take a chance and let your light shine.

Please let us know how you get on! There's no prophet, it's all you.

Bless, bless, bless,
Anna x

Most, if not all, people live in fear, pain, or fear of pain. Where pain is not only physical pain but, more importantly, emotional pain. Mostly emotional pain is caused by our reaction to what other people think of us, and our perception of other people and their reactions toward us. As long as we don't physically impose our self on others, then the statement 'what other people think of me is none of my business' is something we could all live by.
