Ok,

If you were at a trade fair / exhibition etc for complementary therapists, what sort of prize would you like to see that you could win by filling out a questionnaire? (Max cost around £200)

Would you be interested in a nintendo Wii, book tokens, vouchers of your choice?
Ideally it would be something that would appeal to the widest audience possible, so a massage table would not be suitable!

Towergate would be really interested to hear your responses, and who knows you may well win it!!

I'll have a massage or spa visit please.

Thanks

How about a weekend away at a luxuary health spa?

Personally I'd be extremely happy with £200 of Amazon vouchers, but vouchers are not very imaginative I guess.

Thanks Carl/Andy,

If anyone else has any ideas please post them here, or if you agree with the ideas so far just let us know so we can get an idea of what people prefer!

Thanks everyone :)

Yes, I agree with both Carl and Andy - a luxury spa visit with holistic massage and reflexology would be just the thing. I wouldn't mind filling out a questionnaire for that.

I think that you'll definately get the attention of most people by offering a visit to a spa - especially a weekend as it would then be worth the time to travel.

When do we get to fill in our questionaires?

Hi guys,

How about a choice of "experiences", like a parachute jump, hangglding, spa treatment, hot air ballooning, 3 skuba diving sessions, etc...

You can give the winner the choice and you can cater for a wider variety of tastes this way. Also, as it is an expereince that they will not forget, it will add to your "word of mouth" exposure for sure.

Narrow it down to three choices and let that be your prize maybe. No one said it had to be a therapy! An expereince that will be remembered for years will certainly provide some measure of personal satisfaction or even growth. A perfect example of living in the present, a wow moment in your life...

Just a thought..

Asif

Thanks everyone for your input!

To be honest whatever we decide to do, it will most likely be available as a prize at the CAMExpo in October at the Excel centre in London, so if you are going by all means please come over and fill in a questionnaire!

Any other ideas will be gratefully received, as there is plenty of time yet, so you never know, a really fantastic prize idea might be just around the corner!! :)

Maybe you could consider giving a years free insurance, or a years membership here, or a free website - collaberating with other business partners is always a good thing to think about when offering a prize. Just my thoughts on it from the business angle.

Hi Carolyn,

Thanks for the input!

We give away free insurance as a prize normally, and this will sit alongside what we are currently looking to do now - Ideally we want to offer a really good prize that will get people to give up 10 minutes of their time to fill in a questionnaire for us - Sadly free insurance hasn't worked in the past on its own (can't think why! :) )

Certainly we will be looking to provide something else free, such as free membership to a magazine or to HL, so thanks again for the input and keep the ideas coming please!

I like the idea of having choices. Something you might consider is paid admission to a class, like something at Arthur Findlay College or an intuitive consultation. Many people who are interested in metaphysics are always looking for a new way to broaden their horizons, but they're not quite sure how to go about it. Here are my top three (in no particular order):

  • Metaphysical class / Intuitive Consultation

  • A day at a spa

  • Hot air ballon ride

    Peace,
    Dawn :)

    OR
you could fund a short course - most first level courses or introductions are around the £200 mark.

    :)

    Brilliant ideas!

I hadn't thought of offering the option for a new course - I really like this idea.

I definitely think the best option is to let the winner choose their prize from a small list, but I think that is a definite contender - Keep them coming though!!
