Hi all

Just wanted to ask if any of you recommended any particular NLP practicioner training programmes. It is something I am considering for the future. I especially would love to hear about anything in Cornwall or that can be done via distance learning.

Thought it was worth asking people's opinions.
Thanks

Kat :)

I did the Practitioner NLP course with Zetetic too. I found the training very excellent and it was especially attractive becasue it was done as an Adult education course so as well as being a superb locally run course it was also in expensive!

Hi, I can highly recommend the company I train with - they are based in London - not sure if that is a drive from London though?

Hi,

I would suggest trying the ANLP website (Association of Neuro Linguistic Programming).

They are one of the most respected and well known organisations in the country and although they do not run courses themselves, they do list a number of recognised practitioners and trainers from all over the country, so you may well be able to find someone in your local area.

Anyway hope this helps!

Hi Katina

Please don't attempt to learn NLP by distance learning. It's experiential, and having studied it for over 1000 hrs over the past ten years, would say that if the intention is to be effective rather than 'qualified' you will be of far greater benefit if you learn in a group environment.

i studied in australia so cannot help you with finding someone in the UK - but good luck

good for yout local authority for offering NLP thru adult education.
I have been looking at some courses and they all seem very pricey.

Hi,
I'd highly recommend Paul McKenna Training in London: Dr Richard Bandler, Paul McKenna and Micheal Neill. I completed my NLP Practitioner Certificate with them a couple of years ago and I really enjoyed it. I have found the techniques practical, enjoyable and very powerful. My public speaking especially is much improved from using NLP techniques. The website is www.paulmckenna.com
All the best, Nadine

Hi - I'm doing an NLP Practitioner Course here in north east Scotland, and would recommend it very highly.

The course is run by Rosie O'Hara of NLP Highland and is run over 9 weekends over the course of a year. She runs the courses in Aberdeen and also in Forres.

Have a look at http://www.nlphighland.com for more information.

Hello Katina

I trained with the Lazarus Consultancy in London. I agree that it's not something you can learn at a distance. There's so much you gain working as a group.

Jeremy Lazarus's site is http://www.thelazarus.com/. He also trains in Hypnotherapy and Time Line Therapy as part of your practitioner course. Thoroughly recommend him.

Good luck and I hope you enjoy your training when you find a course
