This is a great magazine that explains important subjects such as Human Rights, globalisation, global warming etc, in a concise, easily read format.

I think its ideal for those of us who don't have the time or inclination to sift through mountains of research on different topics in order to get a clear perspective on them.

My husband loves sniffing out the truth (btw Andy, he's a Sagittarius too! ) and can hold enormous amounts of empirical data in his head. I can't - I'm more intuitive and picture orientated (great left brain / right brain mix we have in our partnership!!). That's why I've subscribed to the NI.

They're run by an independent publishing co-operative and owned totally by a non-profit community service organisation. This gives them editorial freedom.

The website link http://www.newint.com has a section on the magazine, but also a fair trade shopping site.

Well worth a visit, I reckon.
