Welcome to the Holistic Local discussion forums. Our goal is to make this an interesting and fun place where you can come and discuss whatever's on your mind. However, we do have a few common-sense rules that are here to help make everyone's experience more enjoyable.

1) Please be kind and courteous and always be respectful of other people's views. Feel free to debate or express disagreement, but please don't criticise, censure or ridicule others for their beliefs, opinions or views. Do not resort to personal insults or 'flaming'.

2) When writing posts please do not use ALL CAPITAL LETTERS as that is considered shouting. Please also refrain from using explicit or vulgar language.

3) Do not post messages that contain malicious or potentially defamatory or libelous information about any individual, company or organisation. If you do your messages will be deleted and you may be banned from using the forum.

4) Please do not post messages of a commercial nature in any part of the discussion forum. The Marketplace is for advertising and classifieds.

5) The Holistic Local forum moderators reserve the right to edit and/or delete any post that is deemed inappropriate. Anyone who persists in being negative or continues to ignore the forum rules will be asked to leave the forum and may have their membership terminated.

6) If you do experience any abuse or are being bothered by another member then please report this by sending a private message to one of the Holistic Local Administrators.

I'm just giving this a bump to bring it to everyone's attention because clearly a few people have either forgotten about them, or haven't seen them. If anyone feels there is anything missing from these rules then by all means make suggestions.

Personally I dislike rules and regulations but I want to see this forum be a friendly place where people can express themselves without fear of being jumped on by someone else.

I certainly don't want to stiffle debate, and there's nothing wrong with disagreeing with someone; however, it's very important that we always remain respectful of other peoples views and opinions, even when they clash with our own.

So, if you want to participate in the forum, please leave your ego at the door.

Thanks
Andy
