Hi,

I'm Lee and I am new to the community, so I wanted to just introduce myself.

I am a life coach and have been for five years, but my reason for joining this site is to share my experiences with others as I travel on a journey through the Qabala. I started my studies a year ago and have spent the best part of that year stunned by the similarities between much of my coaching philosophies and that of the Qabala and the Tree of Life. It took me a long time to finally start my journey - partly through ignorance and not knowing what was involved, partly through the fear of not knowing what it would 'do' to me. As I am still very much a beginner, I thought it would be a good opportunity to write down how I am finding the journey and hopefully encourage others who may be looking for a similar path but are unsure if it is for them. I'm writing a book about my experiences, but also saw that not everyone would want to read a whole book about someone else's journey. So I have also created a blog that I add to daily, that allows me to put down my thoughts and maybe connect with someone.
I hope to get to know many of you on here and intend to be a regular visitor, now that I'm here!

Many thanks!

Lee

Welcome Lee :)

I'm not on the Qabala path myself, but I hope you find someone who is. Is this not what Madonna is into big time?

Thanks Helen!

There's two main strands of Qabala - and spelling is a giveaway :) There is the strand based in Judaism and this is the one that Madonna practices. This one is usually spelt Kaballah.

The one I study is the non-religious strand. This is one of the main reasons I was so interested in it, to be honest. One religion just wasn't answering all of my questions, but I found the Qabala did. Both strands are very very similar, but the non-religious version is the one I am most comfortable with. I wanted something that had no rules or precepts about how I practiced it - I like making those up myself :)

Thanks once again for the welcome!

Lee
