Two days of shopping, information gathering and meeting like-minded people. All you need for going or being greener, for yourself, your family and your home, inside and out and all under one roof. 60 stands ranging from recycled timber toys and furniture to renewable energy systems and lots in between. A full time table of talks for each day including Bridget Strawbridge from BBC’s ‘It’s Not Easy Being Green’, speaking on her year’s experiences and answering your questions on Sunday. Demonstrations happening out on the grass throughout each day with The Alternative Building Company showing how to construct hay bale walls and thanks to Mike Abbott of Abbott’s Living Wood we have several green woodworkers showing what they can do on a pole lathe, including the current world champion pole lather. Catering for the event are Castle Catering of Worcester providing organic and fair trade light meals and Severn Valley Catering providing local beef, fair trade hot drinks and a vegetarian wagon. A free shuttle bus is running from Great Malvern train station to the showground all day, each passenger receiving a £1 voucher against the entry price as a thank you for lessening CO2 emissions. Cyclists also receive a £1 reduction at the gate. Normal day ticket price is £8, children under 16 go free.
