I was thinking just today: LOVE IS GOD. GOD IS LOVE – PERIOD. There is no other explanation. Nobody can really define God. It is each individual’s own personal experience and interpretation of that love. To me GOD IS LOVE ENERGY, and what we do with that love energy is up to us. I believe we are here to integrate our physical bodies with that love – genetics etc - and so spiritualise ourselves and the material world. And if we put that love into a loaf of bread, an inter-reaction, our children, a business deal, lovingly cleaning the car, planting a plant, whatever, then that love will go out to those that are on the receiving end - and as you sew so you reap. Conversely, if one is driven by profit and greed (we don’t always recognise the greed- I’ve been there) then that is an imbalance that is feeding the money–god - and the day of reckoning will come. I believe the money-god has ruled this planet for so long and we are now seeing that time of reckoning. The old man in the sky with a beard who separates the wheat from the chaff, and who will come on judgement day – is a God the three main churches, Christianity, Jewish and Muslim, have created to control the masses. There is no God judging us– we judge ourselves. The God-energy is not a personality as we know it in human terms; it doesn’t distinguish between a leaf dying or a baby dying– it just knows balance. LOVE. And like the article you posted said “Love is the new religion of the 21st century.” To me the Second Coming is not Christ returning bodily to this earth but an awakening in everyone’s heart to Christ Consciousness – Universal Love.
