It seems that the BBC dropped him because he wouldn't promote the 'global warming is man-made' theory/agenda.

This is a really interesting interview with him:

I know that he's far from the only scientist that holds these views, yet virtually none of them are allowed to air their views in the mainstream media.

Apparently since as far back as 1998 there's actually been a trend of global cooling!

I totally agree with David Bellamy here:

"The thing that annoys me most is that there are genuine environmental problems that desperately require attention. I’m still an environmentalist, I’m still a Green and I’m still campaigning to stop the destruction of the biodiversity of the world. But money will be wasted on trying to solve this global warming “problem” that I would much rather was used for looking after the people of the world.

Being ignored by the likes of the BBC does not really bother me, not when there are much bigger problems at stake. I might not be on TV any more but I still go around the world campaigning about these important issues. For example, we must stop the destruction of tropical rainforests, something I’ve been saying for 35 years."

I don't know what happened to him - The last thing I remember he was advertising pouring bleach cleaner down your toilet which sort of spoiled his 'Green' credentials somewhat!

kind of says it all...........

apparently the federation against global wrming has now disbanded , and its main spokes person has somewhat capitulated ....or retreated shall we say .

Personally I can't see the value in picking over the bones on this one again. The changes are largely beneficial ( not happy about the nuclear bit),and spurs us on to minimise our footprint and it promotes a more spiritual / material consciousness towards the Planet.

Other than that it would be a case of playing Russian roulette.
