Hi
I work as an energy healer and my understanding is that all illness has an emotional reason behind it. Pain and illness are the unconscious mind's way of communicating that we are not in the flow of our authentic persona.

If we use medication such as anti-depressants then we mask the symptoms. We cover the way our body is telling us about deeper issues that we need to resolve. For me balance is the key. Often we look to someone else to take responsibility for our healing. If we take a holistic view and look at every aspect of our life - diet, exercise etc then this is where the answers lie.

I feel medication has it's place and needs to be used as an intervention sometimes especially in a crisis, however the homeopathy model shows that conventional medical models simply cover the symptoms rather than cure.

We are now in an age where people are starting to take responsibility for their lives and actions. If they explore the energy model with an open mind and heart then they can find a different way of living. I use emotional freedom technique with my own family and my clients and have experienced wonderful things. Five years ago I had never heard of energy healing.

EFT works on every level with any aspect - physical or mental. Anyone can use it without any dangerous side-effects. If you haven't seen it yet check it out and try it for yourself. No one knows exactly how it works but it certainly does.

Hi Jo,
I disagree that all illness has an emotional base, most, yes, but not all, there are antigens in our world that can overpower our immune system and cause disease.
Tapping the ends of meridians (EFT) releases the blocked energy. I have been using Kinesiology based form of EFT for 15 years, so we do know how and why it works, but again, it does not work for everything.

Given that the immune system (and every other system in the body) is governed, ultimately, by the nervous system and chiropractic is concerned with the care of the nervous system.....surely this makes chiropractic a definite inclusion in preventing dis-ease and maintaining our health.

Healthcare today has really disempowered us as people. Instead of the power that made the body, heals that body, we now look outside our selves for the 'quick fix' eg. medications, which really just mask the underlying problem. Sure, there is a place for medications, but only in emergencies. Our bodies are amazing machines and instead of using and abusing them, we should be looking inside for our answers.

Hi Ali,
Your comment about chiropractic is to my mind correct AND incorrect at the same time.Correct because chiropractic is concerned with the care of the nervous system, however, chiropractic in both Australia and New Zealand is just a quick fix scene. 10 mins. in the chiro's room, crack your back, come back in 3 days, $30 please. This is obviously not health care. Do chiro's do it different elsewhere? Osteopaths usually take an hour and use muscles to realign the spine, which is probably how chiro was intended.
Healthcare today...don't you mean disease care?
