For the last 6 months, I've been using an ayurvedic toothpaste called Vicco, and it's really really good, better than any I've come across before, and has made my mouth a Better Place! Recommended.

(PS I buy it in my local Asian corner shop - can't be found in supermarkets.)

I used to buy it at Natural Way in Paignton, now called 100% Health and don't know if they still stock it.
I would also like to extoll the virtues of xylitol for gum health.
