Is it a rhinoceros? :D:D

I know - it's a fairy. Is it that round thing on the left?

What do you know Helen, that we don't?

Ann :) x

Hi,
It's an ORB.... some say it's spirit or ghost, science say's it's dust!
See alot of them on digital pic's.
Google it there are some good debates on the subject.

I'm not really interested in 'the subject' - I'm interested in this pic! have always been very sceptical about 'orbs' in photos...now I'm not so sure. I took 75 photos while in Lithuania - including one seconds apart from this one - and this round thing appeared in none of them.

Someone on another board has suggested that it's a spider's web, and they can see the filaments that attach it to something but, having enlarged it, I can't see them! In fact it doesn't look like a cobweb at all to me, specially as I can't imagine what it was attached to.

spider web looks like the flash hit it and reflected off pretty common problem in photography actually.
As a past Nature Photographer I should know.

I don't know much about photography or orbs or whatever. This is NOT a spiderweb, but what it is, is beyond me. Facinating Helen.

By this, I assume you have many similar photos, Michael, of such spider webs. Would you mind posting one or two so that I can verify what you say? (It does not appear to be a cobweb to me.)

looks like some dust on the lense refracting from the flash.

Another photo I took just seconds later, but focussed in a slightly different direction (to the right), does not have this white circle in/on it.

It would appear to be an Orb which, according to Diana Cooper (well known speaker/writer on all things spiritual, angels, atlantis etc) have been verified by scientists as not being lens imperfections, light refraction etc. There's a whole section about Orbs on her website - www.dianacooper.com - and pictures of Orbs, described as beings of light, including one very similar to what you've shown here. Hope this helps.
Love and light

I don't know Sarah, but Andy can tell you, and obviously Helen knows. Maybe one of them will explain to you, as I am sure lots here would like to see the pic.

Hi all

We took a family pic in Haughmond wood, near Shrewsbury and there's an identical orb, in the background. What's weird is that our youngest, who was about 3 at the time, is in the background of the shot, looking directly up at it! Nobody noticed anything at the time and the photo was only developed a couple of months later. Even my husband is amazed!

I'll put it up here once I figure out how!

My son remembers seeing a "ball" floating across the living roonwhen he was 4, (he's almost 7 now) but he describes it as a fairy, as his grandfather used that term.

There have been a few occasions when he;s been caught looking at stuff, which our two cats were also looking at the same time incidentally. And when he was 3 months old, looking at something walk around our bed (height of an adult) and make him laugh... I could go on with the many occasions, but unfortunately none on camera. Maybe my son is "digital" and I'm analogue. Kids are so pure, we shoudl try and preserve that.

Would love to see sarahs picture, first you need to stick it on the web somewhere, and link to it, Sarah mail me if you get stuck!

Peace

A
