Hi, i have been asked to do an indian head massage on someone who is under 16 years old, which is fine as i do them on my child all the time.
what i would like to know is what do i put in a concent form for her mum to sign to give me permission to do it on her?/
any help would be great.

That both Mum & youngster have read the contra-indications to IHM & agree that they are not currently relevant, and that Mum's permission is given to the treatment. If you have any doubts about a health issue with the girl, do get her doc's permission. Better safe than sorry.

This is what I have written on the bottom of all my consultation forms which covers for any age group:-

'I confirm that the information given here is complete and correct to the best of my knowledge and accept that Therapists do not diagnose or give medical treatment for myself and/or my dependents' signed......................dated................

Also you'd better be aware, Agatha, that the word is spelt with an S - consent! Just in case you want to use it on your form!
