ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology
A theory only course covering all the anatomy and physiology of the body.
This is either Fast Track - 6 consecutive day course or a 4 - module course (over 4 weekends – 7 days in total) suitable for those who are able to cope with intensive, part-time training.
The Anatomy and Physiology award is the ‘foundation’ upon which all other Complementary, Beauty and Sports Therapy awards are based. It is comprised of several units encompassing all systems of the body. It is vital that a therapist understands the anatomy and physiology in detail, as they will be working in direct contact with the body structures. It is also vital that they have a full knowledge of diseases and disorders of the human so that they are aware of when and when not to treat a client and only operate within certain perimeters.
During the course students are expected to produce a folder of anatomy and physiology coursework, which will be inspected by the principal and the examiner.
Daily times: 9.30am - 5.00pm
This course is a core unit for all courses and is ITEC accredited see ITEC web site for more details
