I have lived in the Scottish Highlands all my life , The scenery & Wildlife is amazing , The only Polar Bear in the UK ( Mercedes ) on national news yesterday having moved from Edinburgh Zoo to Highland Wildlife Park near me ( Kincraig )
Yes, I know Oswaldtwhistle...used to teach at Blackburn college. Where I am it's on the coast where it meets the Ribble Estuary....I can see the sea from a bedroom window - the tide goes out ever so far on this section of the west coast, we see across to Wales and the hills of mainland Lancs from here. No dolphins - sea falcons sometimes. Nothing like as dramatic as where you are...and Lancs is crowded...
Hello Peter...have visited Inverness a few times, eaten fish and chips, watched the dolphins...then up to Helmsdale...happy times. Katie in Lancashire.
