ITEC Indian Head Massage Diploma

Indian Head Massage has been practiced for hundreds of years in India and works on both a physical and psychological level. It focuses on the, back, shoulders, neck and head which are the most vulnerable to stress and tension. It is a wonderful and beneficial programme for de-stressing and improving general well-being.

Students will be trained to become proficient in Indian Head Massage and will be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to set up in practice following qualification.

All students must already have acquired ITEC's Holistic therapies or Anatomy and Physiology Diploma and successfully completed their Professional Conduct and Business Awareness examination. The course comprises of 50 hours of contact tuition and assessment plus supervised home study, which includes a:

  • Indian Head Massage Project (to be written and chosen by the student)
  • 9 written case studies (to be submitted to ITEC)
  • Upon satisfactory completion of course work, case studies and mock examinations, students will be eligible to sit the ITEC Indian Head Massage Diploma (theory and practical). Once qualified to this level students are entitled to practice Indian Head Massage professionally.
