This is a level 3 ITEC approved course in Diet & Nutrition to enable therapists to become insured to offer quality nutritional advice to clients they treat with a hands-on therapy. It is a comprehensive but fun foundation course covering all the basics of nutrition, plus what diet advice to give to people suffering with common conditions or of a specific age-group. Five case studies are to be carried out and written up as well as ten assignments and a half-hour multiple choice exam externally marked by an ITEC examiner. Extra-curricular topics are also covered including Food and Mood, Kinesiology muscle testing for foods and basic naturopathic principles.
Dates
Proposed start date is 21 October. Every other Saturday 10am to 5pm with an hour for lunch between 1pm and 2pm.
