Lois Skilleter, B. Ed. (Hons), Usui Reiki Master, MIPTI, CMA College Member, teaches this course on behalf of Vitality Holistic Therapy and it is bookable through them. It is suitable for experienced therapists or those just starting out. A and P is not required
This is a one day intensive course. The theory element includes the history of Ear Candling, the techniques, benefits, contra-indications, contra-actions, basic anatomy of the head, skin and anatomy and physiology of the outer and inner ear.
Thermal Auricular Therapy is easy to learn and can benefit children as well as adults who have ear, nose and throat problems. As well as instruction of the safe use of the candles, students will learn a basic facial massage designed to stimulate the lymphatic system and to bring about deep relaxation.
