Description
This weekend is for those who would like to brush down their playing and spend some quality time with their flute!
There will be lots of playing over the weekend: playing in class, flute ensembles, “Doctor Tone,” classes for sound and breathing, some scale ensembles (this will allow for all levels to take part), individual sessions with piano and some individual flute lessons.
Workshops over the weekend include repertoire classes and techniques (articulation, finger agility, sound, breathing and posture).
The course is suitable for flautists from Grade 4 to diploma level and for teachers, too. Participants should bring a selection of music they would like to play (please bring your piano parts).
The course includes a short concert by the tutors on Saturday evening.
