What is it?

A professional massage treatment for the body It includes:

Professional massage techniques
Related anatomy & physiology
Health & safety
Client care
Hygiene principles


Pre-entry qualifications required
Students under 18, Level 1 or 3 GCSE’s grade D or above. Students over 19, experience will be taken into consideration at interview.
Due to the nature of the industry and the course, students are expected to be polite, pleasant and enthusiastic. You will have to deal with the public on a daily basis

9.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. Including 15 minute morning and afternoon breaks; 45 minute lunch


How much is it?
£450 for a full five day programme
£60 for assessment with an external awarding body

Assessment
Practical and theoretical: Case studies; coursework; assignments; tests

* Due to the nature of the course students must be prepared to work on each other and have the treatments to gain competence and experience the treatment first hand. Once we are satisfied you are competent we will endeavour to find “clients” to model, as you can appreciate it may sometimes be difficult to find models for everyone therefore we encourage you to find your own models. This would usually be required during the last two days of the course.
Hair should be neat & tidy and if long, secured off the face.
