What is on -Site Massage (Seated Acupressure) ?

On-Site Acupressure Massage is based on the principles of Anma, a traditional Japanese massage.

It incorporates over 100 specific acupressure points on the head, neck, shoulders, arms, hands and back to leave the client relaxed and calm yet energised and alert. It also significantly reduces muscle tension in the upper body by concentrating on the areas most affected by prolonged repetitive work.

Carried out with the client fully clothed and sitting in a specially designed chair and taking only 15 to 30 minutes, On-Site Massage is one of the most effective, convenient and popular Complementary Therapies, especially in the Corporate Sector.

Why Train?

Break into the lucrative corporate market

More and more organisations are incorporating On-Site Massage into their Employee Wellness Programmes

Stress - Most employers now acknowledge that stress reduces staff productivity and is a major cause of absence from work.

Repetitive Strain Injury - On-Site Massage helps reduce the likelihood of staff developing Repetitive Strain Injury.

Motivation - On-Site Massage is one of the most effective ways an organisation can demonstrate how much it values its staff.

Opportunities are available both directly with companies (the Academy’s Marketing Workshop will help graduates achieve this) and working for specialist On-Site Massage companies (we have contacts with over twenty)
