About MeRose Ann graduated from the Parent as Coach Academy in January 2002, and completed her coach certification through The Centre for Coach Training in October of 2004. Rose Ann graduated with honors from West Chester University with a Bachelors degree in Social Work. In addition she has a Masters in Metaphysical Science and is currently writing her dissertation for a Doctorate in Holistic Life Coaching from the University of Sedona. Rose Ann began using coaching as an approach when she worked for Employment Training and Business Services in Clackamas County. She provides parent coaching classes/workshops and coaches individuals and groups. In addition, Rose Ann has used coaching in the Oregon chapter of Service for Peace where high school and college students were coached to mentor elementary school children. In addition to coach training and experience, Ms. Kennett has 20 years experience working with children and families. She has a background in social work, counseling, career development, transition planning, parent education, coaching and energy work. She began as a high school student, tutoring inner city Philadelphia elementary school students and has designed and implemented numerous positive youth development programs that are holistic and comprehensive. Most recently Ms. Kennett designed and directed the new Service for Peace Oregon chapter which featured the “Teen as Coach” model, co-founded with Diana Haskins and Vicky Martin.
