Sport and Remedial Massage
Sport and Remedial Massage therapy may be used to address an extensive range of injuries and illness. It uses a range of therapeutic techniques for the prevention, recognition and treatment of minor sports injuries or non-sports related wear and tear. It can also be used to provide support for people wanting to maintain and improve fitness.

It is a holistic treatment which treats the entire person and not only the area of your body that hurts.

Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient form of healing which encourages the body to balance and remain healthy. You will lie on a comfortable futon mat on the floor (though it can be adapted if you find it difficult to lie on the floor). You remain fully clothed throughout.

The therapist uses hands, feet and elbows in a series of moves to help free the tension trapped in your body, inducing a profound state of relaxation. Energy line, acupressure points, muscles, ligaments and joints are stretched and opened, which stimulates energy flow and encourages freedom of movement. However, it is more than a physical therapy and works to balance and harmonise the entire body.

Sport/Thai fusion
Why not try a combination of Sports massage and Thai Yoga massage. This treatment is carried out on a massage couch using lotion and uses sports and remedial techniques and also includes some of the good mobilisation stretches used in Thai Yoga massage.

Massage for relaxation, recovery and recuperation
The massage techniques used in Sports massage are ideally suited to provide a gentle but effective massage which encourages the body to heal itself by triggering a healthy reaction in the nervous system and aiding circulation.

This is a full body massage using long, stroking effleurage and petrissage techniques, which are used to warm and soften the tissues, elongate muscle fibres and aid circulation.

It is also useful as a short post-event massage to flush toxins from the system and aid recovery of muscles, tendons and ligaments.
