About Me

I have worked with a very diverse clientele throughout the United States, bringing over 33 years of experience in teaching exercise, 29 years in Eastern and Western bodywork and massage, and 16 years in process body-centered therapy to you. My ability to blend structural bodywork with energy work is quite unique. Over the years, I have eclectically integrated the best healing modalities into my newest work called, "Pink Tantra"; a process of awakening the Chakras, and proliferating health and vitality. For me, massage is a personal journey which I share with each client on a deeply karmic level. The process of healing requires your participation and presence, too.

I have been a Kundalini practitioner since 1976, initiated in West Hollywood at the Buddha Tree. In New York City, I began my study and practice of Hatha yoga in July of 1978 as the direct student of Swami Bua Ji Maharaj M.H.Y. former director, Department of Yoga Health, Government of India, who is still alive and over 100 years old. I also studied with Dharma Mittra at his New York City Yoga Asana Center starting in April of 1983. At Northwestern University Dance Center in Evanston, Ill., I studied Hatha Yoga with Joanie-Tomb-Williams in 1994-95. In Gainesville, Florida I studied deep tissue-process massage, B.K.S. Iyengar Yoga, and sitting mediation. I moved to St. Louis Park, Minnesota in 1990, where I joined the staff of The Marsh in Minnetonka teaching yoga classes and giving massage treatments. In the last decade, my work has evolved into 'Sacred Tantra' where Eastern and Western thinking and feeling comes together.

More About Me

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota

Occupation: Tantric Bodyworker & Teacher

My Philosophy On Life: Tantra is about embracing all of life and taking the middle path. It doesn’t advocate hedonistic indulgence that depletes the life force, nor is it about living an unrealistic saint-like existence that doesn’t include things like lower chakras and bodily function. Tantra connects you with your body, a Kundalini temple. A temple where passion and letting-go brings you closer to bliss. It is common in the West to equate Tantra with sex, but in actuality it is a spiritual science more concerned with artfully approaching every activity and creating a well-rounded and masterful balance of each aspect of life. The sexual center is represented by the water element. Today, most people who study Tantra have an abundance of sealed energy. The goal of the work is to release and open the Chakra system and it's locks; thereby, clearing the way for a healthier body. Orifice breathing is quite new for Westerners, yet the Holy Bible makes plenty of references. The seven Churches or Chakras are guarded by the core muscles. By using dialog and touch I teach you how to enter the sacred spaces within your own body. Remember, whenever we guard our bodies with tension in a chronic way as in oral and anal retention, it does more harm than good. Awakening the sacred gates, allows you to experience 'The Holy Spirit'. This is done by energizing the P and G-spots together at the base of the pelvis and moving the spine in a wave like motion (snake-like), and allowing the breath to ignite the water element from the kidneys to the perineum. In an aroused state, the Kundalini Shakti feels so good and vital that you will want to 'sing the body electric.'
