You just are as you are

As the spider spins webs so does the mind spin stories. Unlike the spider the mind does not know when to stop spinning. The mind is almost never so still as a spider in the center of her web. The story the spider spins has a purpose: it is a thing of beauty, her home, and her grocery store. The stories the mind spins often serve no purpose, being neither beautiful nor useful. We often have relationships, not with each other, but with our stories about each other. Then we expect other people to fulfill our stories. But other people are not here to fulfill our stories. They are here to fulfill their own stories.
People just are as they are. You just are as you are. The recognition of this could save you much suffering. It could allow you to come into harmony with the relationships in your life. It could allow you to see with your heart.
