The picture of us is at Tumbling Creek, in Tennessee. We live in such a beautiful area, in the corner where GA/TN/NC meet. It was a long journey from our noisy lives in the suburbs of Atlanta to here, and we still have to travel back to the City fairly often, challenging our resolve to reduce our environmental impact and drive less often.
I have what might be called a spiritual practice of breathing deeply - it's easy to maintain here. I just look at the beauty, breathe deeply, and realize more of the perfection that is everywhere. I'm getting better at doing the same thing when I'm in the City...
