Be still

Sunday, February 18th, 2007 10:55 PM

“Amid the hustle and bustle of your weary day, when all around you is in the clutches of deep disarray; be still.

Look within you for the Light of God and you will see Its flame.  The eternal Flame of Consciousness, unflickering, is burning within your Soul.  You are lit by Its undying glow.  You simply have to allow your awareness to rest upon It and you will know It to be so.

Be still.

Drop down into the calm centre of your being and feelthe Eternal Flame warming your heart. Allow the warmth to pervade your body, gently, surely, evenly.  Until you are aglow with the Light of Undying Love that is alive, conscious and waiting within you.”

These are words I received after a deep meditation many years ago.  At the time, they seemed like a ‘nice’ message, but as I was already spending many hours aday meditating, I couldn’t see their relevance. Now that I’m a working mother with little time to call my own, I can appreciate the message!

Sometimes we get so caught up in daily life, running towards goals, meeting commitments, doing chores, that we can get tired and feel lost.  I know if I don’t make the time to regenerate my batteries I can get pretty frazzled and don’t function very effectively!

If you feel like you’ve lost the plot, make time to sit alone, quietly for a while and follow the above guidance.  The trick is to ‘drop down’ through your thoughts, feelings and physical sensations into the core of your being.  Here, you can become the still calm centre of the ‘storm’ of your life and can rejoin the world recharged and refreshed.

These days I try to operate from my point of stillness continually.  When I achieve this, I’m more perceptive and efficient, feel energised, am happier and see the funnyside of life.

Have a go, you’ll be glad you did!

The Power of Gratitude

Thursday, September 21st, 2006 12:19 AM

Here's this month's article on gratitude:

The Power of Gratitude

Following my last article, in which I stated that we are creative beings - I’d like to present some thoughts on gratitude. One of my teachers shared, in his very exact way, the following. (I’ve explained my understanding of his terminology in brackets):

“Gratitude:

1.      Connects you with All of Life via mind/heart.

2.      Opens a flow of love from you through which God Force is able to:

(1)   cleanse/purify you and

(2)   flow out to your reality and cleanse/purify your surroundings and

(3)   pass on Essence of Itself - through you (“you” being a physical manifestation of the Creator’s and Your thoughts) - to reality, thus expanding It's all encompassing sphere - erasing all negativity in its wake ("wake" means “wave” and also “wake-up call”) - thereby reasserting proper and correct balance of energies in Universe.

“So Gratitude, along with worthy intention, is Everything. i.e. Gratitude is God / is Good / is Creative Power.

“Remember this!” He said. “Without gratitude, you will create - but without connection with the Mind of the Universe - do not be surprised that you don’t manifest what gives you true, lasting joy. The key to real fulfilment, happiness and meaningful prosperity is Gratitude.

“Let ‘Thanks’ be on your lips and in your heart and mind every moment of your day when you are not creating with intention.

“Yes indeed, be grateful for all you see / hear / taste / touch / smell / perceive. For all you are given and for all you give away. This is the essence of the true circle of Life.

“In a nutshell: Gratitude is a pure expression of Love, connecting with Itself at every opportunity. Light - Love - Truth.

“Very important: Gratitude."

I have found that whenever I spend my spare moments being grateful for everything I love, appreciate, value and wish for – I immediately feel more joy and heartfelt warmth. In the days after practicing gratitude with intention, more of what I love shows up!

Its as simple as saying “Thank You for ……….[insert whatever you love]”

Offer to write a monthly article for local paper

Thursday, September 21st, 2006 12:11 AM

Wow! How excited (and honoured) was I to be offered the opportunity to write a monthly article for our local paper (Glasshouse Country News).

My challenge was keeping it to 300-340 words.  But its a good discipline in sticking to what's relevant.

I'll share the article here if you like.

Just a thought … ?

For a change, I would like to share an insight and quotes from several sources. You see, you are more than you realise. I know this from my own experiences and want to share this with you.   Let me begin with a message Spirit shared with me in 1990. I didn’t understand it fully then, but now I do.

“The Infinite Source of all things lives and breathes through your body. There is no need any more to deny Its existence in your life. Open up and receive the abundance of the Universe that is your birthright.” Spirit to Aannsha

To substantiate this statement, here are quotes from three spiritual traditions:

1“One Reality, all-knowing, contains within itself all realities.” Yung-Chia Chinese Master

2"... for your Father knows what things you have need of, before ye ask Him."  Matthew 6:8 Holy Bible

3“…I am thegenerating seed of all existences. There is no being – moving or non-moving –that can exist without Me.… and 4With a single fragment of Myself I pervade and support this entire universe.” Bhagavad-gita.

And, ascientific observation:

5Light electrons can behave as both particles and waves. As waves, electrons have no precise location but exist as “probability fields.” …When they are not measured, electrons are waves. When they are observed, they become particles.

In other words, our Universe (call it God or Quantum Unified Field) is creative. And so are we. If we truly realise our essence and focus our minds with *gratitude on the underlying substance of this universe, we can create anything. In the past creating without connecting with God, brought me disillusionment. But now, creating within my ‘birthright’, is nothing short of miraculous!

We don’t have to live with sickness, poverty or terrorism. We can choose – with humility and gratitude - health, abundance and peace.

I know what I’m going for – will I see you there?

Aannsha

The power of prayer and affirmation

Saturday, August 26th, 2006 3:22 AM

I have lately been consciously re-connecting with the Quantum Unified Field (God, Universe, Creator of All That Is) twice a day.

Along with conscious connection to this Field of Potential, by using affirmative, positive, specific wording, as well as real gratitude for receiving in advance, so many more opportunities have been opening up to me.

My first telephone consultation came through from Healing Truth (my website), and I've had more unexpected sales of my CDs (not just via retail outlets or personal promotion).

Some beautiful new friendships have blossomed and my relationship with my husband is better than it has been for years.

I feel energised and truly 'at one' with my world - to the point where, 'thank You' is bubbling up from within me and flowing out to my world effortlessly.

I just had to share this re-found state of being that I thought for a while I'd lost forever - in case anyone reading this is still in a place where they feel alone, lost or disconnected.

Thank you, thank you, thank you

Blogging - a new experience

Tuesday, July 11th, 2006 10:57 AM

When I was a young teenager, I had a go at keeping a diary.  I wasn't very dedicated though, I would enter a few day's-worth, then miss a couple of months.  As I grew older, I became a bit paranoid that someone might find my diary and use the entries against me!

Looking back at what I could have written in my journal as a teenager, I shake my head, smiling.  I was terribly naive and idealistic. There certainly wouldn't have been any world-shattering theories or dasterdly-do escapades in there.  I think the worst entry would have been: "I fancy the life-guard at the swimming pool (UK)...oh no, he's gay."

I have to say, I don't think I'd pass as naive anymore though - chuckle.

But I do have an idealistic streak, that still runs deep.  Despite Humanity's obvious shortcomings, I remain hopeful that goodness will prevail and evolution - in the Grand Overall Scheme of Things - will win out in the end (if there is an "end").

This is just a musing really, no real major point to today's entry, except testing the water as I talk to myself.  I don't know about paranoia, but there is a part of me that's aware that others may read this!

That said, its a start.  You never know where it will go!

Cya blog. Over and out.
