Real Healing: Experience the Shift

By Marnina Reid/ Daniel Schmachtenberger

Our lives are meant to be amazing experiences of joy and wonder. If your life is anything less than that there is a reason. That reason can be identified and healed, your life can absolutely shift and change.

The information contained in this article, and the process it refers to is rare. You will learn why you have the challenges you have and be shown an outlet to heal them permanently. This may be the most important article you ever read.
Are you really happy?

Have you ever made a new year’s resolution and not followed through?

Have you actually stopped making them so as to avoid the seemingly inevitable disappointment of broken commitments?

How many diets, exercise programs, habit reform plans, and spiritual practices have you embarked upon with the best of intentions, to have quit before truly attaining your goal?

Most people spend their entire lives this way, in cycles of frustration, resignation, and self-judgment, never having the life they really want. When they listen, the voices in their head might sound something like: “you’re lazy, that’s your problem, you’re not committed, you’re not strong enough, not good enough, you don’t deserve it, you never do anything right, who are you kidding, why even try, you know its not going to work…” Wanting escape from the onslaught, and not knowing how to change it, they turn to addictive patterns to at least be distracted. Alcohol, work, shopping, food and television, even exercise or reading for some, can temporarily numb out the mind chatter—but only temporarily. Life is spent running away from what’s inside: self-judgment and criticism, guilt, shame, fear, disappointment, meaninglessness….

It doesn’t have to be that way.

Here is an important fact: All of your negative beliefs about yourself are wrong.

Or rather, they are only true because you believe that they are. This is not trite, and it is not the same thing you’ve heard a million times before: I will give you an actual “how to” to realistically and powerfully, transform your life, forever. Keep listening:

As a new born baby, you did not know who you were. You did not believe that you were stupid, lazy, or unlovable…And you were not any of those things. You were just open and receptive. Then you began to learn who “you” were; the only problem is that most of what you learned was false…and damaging. There actually was a very first time that self doubt was presented to you. Despite their best intentions, your parents most likely couldn’t teach you how to be a truly fulfilled and effective human, because they didn’t know how themselves. Their issues, and those of the culture and world around you, messed you up, i.e., taught you things that aren’t true: “you’re not good enough, life is hard, nothing comes easy, the world is a dangerous place, it’s not ok to be real, you’ll never really be happy, etc.” Now of course they seem true, because the way you perceive the world is biased by the beliefs you’ve had so long you probably hold them as self-evident truths and don’t even realize they are just beliefs. Then, sub-consciously you set up events to reconfirm and prove your beliefs: the sub-conscious belief “I’m not lovable”, makes someone clingy, or withdrawn, or in some manner unattractive, so others aren’t drawn to them, and now they have their proof: “See, I am unlovable”. That’s how it works. All negative patterns, traits, circumstances, even physical health issues, are created by beliefs. This is a fundamental teaching of all the great spiritual paths: from Judaism, King Solomon said “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he”. From the New Testament, Christ spoke “as ye believe, so shall it be done unto you”. Buddha said that our life, our health, and all of our circumstances are the direct result of our beliefs and thoughts.

The beautiful part is that these beliefs aren’t set in stone, and you can change them. The challenging part, as you already know, is that doing that isn’t easy. But it is doable…not by somebody better/smarter/stronger than you…by you. I want you to feel the significance of what that means: no matter what your current life story is, no matter how long it’s been that way or how many things you’ve failed at in the past, you can heal your beliefs, heal your life, and be completely fulfilled.

You may have heard similar things to this before; unfortunately very few people have the personal experience and attainment, to have the trust and skills required to take you there. There is a small group of highly trained people who facilitate whole-life healing processes, that help you to effectively identify and shift all negative and sabotaging patterns in your life, and have the peace and happiness you’ve always wanted.

In the time of one year, you can deeply transform your body, mind, and emotions, and create a life of freedom, trust, and joy.

If you’ve gotten this far, I’d guess that something in your heart feels hope and inspiration and wants to say yes…and something in your head probably says its not going to work, its just more of the same, maybe later, etc. It’s with our choices that we can change our lives: choose which of those voices you want to follow, the rest of your life is waiting.

I would like to introduce to you a clear step by step process called The Five Stages of Healing:
About the work: It is a scientific fact that human beings are born with far less knowledge and instincts than any other species. Although we have consciousness and thought, we are born not knowing who we are. Since that knowledge isn’t built in, we have to learn who we are and how to be ourselves in the world. Eighty percent of our “core” or emotional learning we will learn in our lifetime by the age of 3. From birth to age 3, we learn by simply absorbing what’s around us, with out the ability for discretion or filtering. Whatever we experience is imprinted as “the truth” of how life is-forming what is known as our subconscious or core beliefs. It is these beliefs that direct the rest of our lives.

For example, if an infant is crying, she has the experience of suffering. If the parent does not know what is needed, the baby could be learning beliefs such as: Life is painful, Life is hard, I’m not understood, I can’t get my needs met, Its not safe to trust people, etc. This is how the subconscious is formed.

These beliefs remain as our deepest experiences of life-sabotaging our relationships, career, self image, and overall happiness. This is why we fail at diets, break commitments to ourselves, stay stuck in negative habits and addictions - and cannot make the changes that we truly want. If we really want to heal and change our lives, we need to identify and heal our old beliefs.

The following is a breakdown of the Five stages:

Stage 1: Awareness

This is basically acknowledging your need for healing-moving away from/denial/avoidance/escape/excuses, etc. moving towards taking accountability for your life and what is inside of you.

Stage 2: Acceptance and Commitment

Whatever your stuff is (physical/mental/emotional)-it is yours. You may want to deny it, repress it, blame someone or something else for it, be resentful about it, etc.-but it will still be with you, limiting your life. It is your choice to accept that it is yours to heal and make the commitment to do what it takes. If you are truly aware and truly committed, you can heal your life.

Stage 3: Linking Cause and Effect

This about finding the core of source of an issue so it can actually be healed. Many therapies focus on relieving symptoms while the deeper cause is not addressed; that is why the long term success is low and the issues come back.

Real, permanent healing- particularly of your core patterns-requires identifying where they originally came from and the beliefs, emotions, and energetic that are involved. This is like finding the root of a weed in a garden, so it does not keep growing back.

Stage 4: Release and Replace

Once the root is identified, it still needs to be pulled out. The trauma and/ or dysfunctional core learning is not stored in your conscious adult brain; it is stored in your subconscious “old brain.” These are two completely different energetic and physiological systems.

All the analysis and understanding (adult brain work) in the world inherently cannot uproot core trauma or patterns. It is necessary to use methods that take you deeply into the old brain and allow you to connect to the imprinting there, so it can be released.

You are then able to replace the old beliefs/ patterns with new functional ones, at a deep enough level that they become real congruent experiences.

Stage 5: Re-education and Integration

This is an essential part of healing. After releasing and replacing old beliefs, we have the openness and opportunity for something new and fulfilling, but not necessarily the specific skills.

It is rare that our dysfunctional core learning was accompanied by functional life skill development. Now, these need to be learned and practiced. These new skills are both inner and outer. Inner skills are things such as helping to focus and calm the mind, being clear on what is felt and what is needed, and how to diffuse intense, triggering situations. Outer skills would be things such as communication, managing resources and relationship skills.

This is an extremely profound process that could appeal to anyone that would like support in life to deal with daily challenges, anyone that would like to experience more joy, happiness, and fulfillment, anyone that would like to move out of an old way of doing things that no longer serves him. It is my joy and passion to support you in something that has absolutely transformed my life.

It is extremely fulfilling for me to help people let go of the limiting beliefs and emotional patterns that keep them from that.”
