Access your bodies own unique wisdom with Health Kinesiology

By Jayne Walker

As you read this, your body is working hard- synchronising your digestion & excretion, breathing, regulating hormones and replacing old cells among countless of other tasks to keep you functioning.
Sometimes this delicate balance ( Homeostasis ) becomes unbalanced from stresses we experience, which may be physical such as a fall, or through an emotional trauma ( past or present ) allergens, or through poor nutrition for example.

A skilled HK Therapist can communicate with your body through using muscle testing. This involves applying light pressure to a muscle ( usually the forearm ) and monitoring the response.
Firstly we check to see where the energy is blocked or weak. Once it has been established where the breaks in the circuit are, we can then balance the energy so that we have a 'clean slate' to work with.
We then 'ask the body' through verbal questioning, what we need to do to restore well being.
Occasionally the body's higher intelligence will ask for bodywork, such as Bowen moves or a Homeopathic remedy or even a session of Reiki.

HK corrective techniques may involve:-

  • focussing on a thought or memory

  • self touch or a specific body position

  • placing a magnet, allergen or flower remedy

At the same time acupoints are held to retune the energy patterns, releasing stress and bringing back our natural point of balance.
This is such a gentle and subtle process that there is not always much to feel, most people find it to be both intruiging and relaxing.
HK can be used for all ages and there is no need to remove clothing, each session lasting about an hour.

    As individual as you are.....

No two sessions are ever the same, even for people with the same symptoms. In just one consultation it is possible to identify allergies, release fears, start the detoxifying process to heavy metals for example.
We are far more likely to follow through with life balance advice if it's our own body that is asking for the changes!

You don't need to be ill to experience the benefits of HK.....

  • achieve goals

  • increase self-esteem

  • become calmer and more positive

  • banish fears & phobias

  • weight balancing

  • improve relationships

  • enhance sports performance

  • A smoother pregnancy & birth
