Your Sensitivity Is Your Strength

Following the Tsunami of 2004 rescuers reported that no animal bodies were found. Apparently all animals headed for high ground, leaving their natural habitats in search of safety. Why? Did they know the Tsunami was coming? How did they know? Were they responding to natural inner guidance & a sense from the Earth of what was to come?
This got me thinking about the Sensitives, Intuitives, Lightworkers, Empaths & Indigos; those of you with strong intuitive guidance systems of your own.
If you are a ‘sensitive’ it is likely that you have clear access to this inner voice/felt sense & can feel your connection with nature. This is your strength. You have easy, natural access to guidance that can lead you away from unhelpful situations & towards what is for the highest good & greatest joy.
Most people are not living by these natural, intuitive senses so what you have is very useful & part of why you are here. Trust it, follow it. Be prepared for occasional reactions & confusion, not everyone will understand, but trust yourself. If we are to believe that humanity is experiencing accelerated transformation & current trends of fear & control continue we will each need guides to ensure we are on track & are where we need to be, doing what we need to be doing. Sometimes this process is uncomfortable as it can require adjustments & change but trust yourself, you are safe, you are good enough & you are powerful.
Sometimes intuitive circuits can get scrambled by the over stimulation of every day life & the build up of old wounds. Over time I know many of you with heightened sensitivity withdraw from life & your potential, feeling there is something wrong with you or that you can’t cope.
One of the main things you can do to help yourself is to understand that your system is finely tuned (not wrong or weak) & to learn to look after it.
Here are some ideas to get you started:
• Say ‘thank you’ for the good things your sensitivity gives you (Eg. Deep connection with nature & empathy for others)
• Make rest & quiet time a priority in your day so you can discharge any over stimulation & get calm & centred.
• Learn good basic energy hygiene techniques & use them every day.
• Start a journal of intuitive ‘nudgings’. Notice them, honour them & write them down
• Learn to say “No” to demands on your energy & to say “Yes” to help & love from others
Remember, your sensitivity is your strength.
