Light Up The Darkness

It’s 9pm & the lights suddenly go out, one of the two flat mates jumps to his feet,
“Oh no it’s dark! It’s dark! It’s really, really dark!”
He stumbles to the window throwing it open, shouting to the street below,
“It’s dark! It’s dark! It really IS very, very dark in here!”
He rummages around in the store cupboard; he knows it’s in here somewhere.
Megaphone clenched in hand he makes his way to the apartment roof, yelling from the roof tops with amplified voice,
“It’s dark! It’s dark! It’s really, really, really dark!”
Meanwhile his flatmate calmly feels his way to the fuse box & flicks a switch. He settles down to finish watching his TV programme wondering where on earth his mate has got to.
Which one are you?
You may have noticed that this feature is now called ‘Light Space’; you may also have noticed that my work is now called ‘Light Coaching & Healing’. Why?
One reason is this: Bob Marley played a live gig two days after being shot down by six gunmen, stating that those spreading the darkness don’t take a day off from what they are doing so why should he.
Another reason is this: I see Lightworkers, Sensitives, Adult Indigos, Intuitives & Creatives every week struggling with their heightened experience of the world thinking there is something wrong with them, that they are ‘too sensitive’.
I see them wracked with confusion, unsure of why they are here on Earth. I see them scorched to the core by the culture of fear & competition, longing for a culture of love & cooperation. I see them suffocated by isolation & struggling to function in the world.
All of this breaks my heart. Not through pity, but because I know it deep inside, I feel it in my gut, I see it in their eyes & can sense it in their souls….. they are our future teachers & leaders, the way-showers. They carry the light that can turn this thing around. They are here to flick the switch if only we can give them room.
My passion is to enable & empower a new way of being for a new world. To accompany & guide these future teachers & leaders along their paths of unfolding so they can light up the darkness, to hold up a loving mirror & say “I see you”.
