Sensing Art

Eighteen months ago I gave birth to ‘Energyscapes’, a project committed to art as a force of healing, awareness & conscious evolution. I am delighted to announce that ‘Energyscapes’ recently uttered their first words!
Until recently my experience of painting consisted of subtle feelings, symbols, intuition & broad sweeps of spiritual ‘knowing’. My relationship with spirit & the unseen realms was based on a feeling/sensing dialogue rather than clear words, so you can imagine my surprise when something started speaking to me. Now the more I paint, the more information I receive.
This all started while painting a commission. I had been judging myself & my creative process, feeling that I was failing when I painted over what I had thought was a finished canvas. It was a very subtle thought which was immediately met with a stream of consciousness explaining the process to me.
I was told that each layer of paint, hidden or seen, contained relevant energy, that the colours were being selected to offer vibrational healing suited to the person or place. Every movement & tone contained information transmitted as energy into the canvas, energy that would remain there transmitting healing energy outwards into the room.
With every brush stroke I was now getting information for my client & information explaining which energies were being imbued into the paint & for what purpose. These words became a detailed offering that I gave to my client along with her painting, the impact was remarkable.
Upon finishing this transformational painting I meditated to find out more. What I intuited is that I am working with inter-dimensional ‘data streams’ & that those data streams take many forms; colour, shape, line, tone, healing energy & now words. What I also realised is that other people can tune into these data streams & express them. My partner writes music for the paintings which is played at exhibitions, last year someone wanted to dance the paintings, someone else wanted to sing them.
I was told that the paintings have much to share & that every person has a potential role to play in bringing the healing energy through to this dimension.
So at this year’s exhibition I am inviting everyone to share & express what they sense from the paintings in whichever way flows through them.
