Cosmetic Acupuncture or Facial revitalisation acupuncture and massage is a virtually painless natural method of reducing the signs of the aging process on the face. Although sometimes referred to as an acupuncture face lift it is far more than a cosmetic procedure.
Facial revitalisation acupuncture is a very thorough and complete therapy that is designed to make the the whole body look and feel younger.
As with regular acupuncture points are chosen based on your individual constitution and needs on the day of treatment. The whole person is treated and evaluated based on the body-mind continium which is the foundation of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
After a professional consultation the client receives a facial including a natural face lift massage. Extra fine gauge needles are then inserted into the skin both on the face and body. The whole consultation and treatment takes an average of ninety minutes.
A minimum of eight treatments in total is recommended. Initially six weekly treatments followed by two top up treatments at monthly intervals. There are no side effects although a minimal amount of bruising can sometimes occur.
