Can We Sort This Conflict Out?
There may be times when we will need the security of something to grip to and there will be times when we crave the variety. Our role is to find the path brings us the most joy in the moment

Rewriting The 3 R's
Do you ever see, hear or feel things that other people around you don't? What about when you were in school? Did you learn the same way everyone in your class learned? Are your children (or grandchildren) successful in school? If not - here's a possibility.

Yin & Yang
The Huang Di Nei Jing (The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Medicine)was written by a number of physicians between 770 B.C. & 2 A.D. This book brought together all aspects of TCM and systemised them. The theory expounded in the Nei Jing has remained the dominating theory of Chinese medicine to the present day. This article looks at one of the theories that is central not only Chinese medicine but also to Chinese philosophy and that forms the very roots of TCM. This theory is the Yin Yang Theory.

EXPRESSION OF LIFE
The Universe speaks to us in all kinds of ways. The purest way (but often the least followed) is via the little voice that prods away inside. It’s the one that comes up with really good advice – although it often defies all logic. And it’s very often ignored, to the point of becoming unknown by many. But if you follow it (a bit of trust is sometimes called for here), you find that it will always take you in a flowing way, to a situation of highest good, healing and happiness for all concerned.

Out of the spiritual healing closet
Among the words guaranteed to push people's buttons in my daily work, are "spirit" and "healing". Put the two words together in the combination "Spiritual Healing" and you can muster up an even stronger sense of unease.

Simple Ways to Have Happy Experiences
It’s the dream of many to live happy and contented lives. The truth is that life happens and with the good comes the not so good. Some become skilled at getting into the zone and ride the wave of life learning from each wave that washes over them. Others live life with a ‘que sera sera’ (whatever will be, will be) accepting kind of attitude. Then there are those who find themselves in the dark place and need a little guidance to again see the light.

Implement Your Idea Today Lest Someone Else Does
Thoughts are energy and energy moves. I always find it amazing me how someone somewhere implements an idea I’ve had or currently have. At any given moment an idea thought of is also formulating somewhere else at precisely the same time.

ON FINDING MYSELF MIDDLE AGED WITH NO ROLE MODEL I CAN RELATE TO BECAUSE I AM NOT A CRONE
We have outgrown our tenure as Maidens and as Mothers, yet old age no longer follows immediately after menopause, which is why so many midlife women don’t see ourselves (yet) as Crones. Where is the authentic archetype for us?

What’s Your Ripple?
New Year is traditionally an opportunity for a fresh start, but all too often, within days, we've slipped back into the same old ways as the previous year.

The Magic of Being Brave
I once read that a definition of madness is ‘Repeatedly doing the same thing and expecting different results’. Whether you make resolutions or not, New Year is certainly a good time to start trying new ways of being, which are the key to making changes to our lives.

Don't Do Resolutions - Do What You Love!
This year I propose something different to the usual round of new year's resolutions – rather than stopping the things we feel we ‘shouldn’t do’, let’s do more of the things we love to do.

The Part The Guru Left Out
Religion and spirituality is something that's played a large part in my adult life. But something I've learned about religion and spirituality is that a lot of the followers, though well meaning, repeat phrases the leaders and gurus say, without much more than a superficial understanding. Before you know it, a whole group or congregation are repeating a phrase they have no deep understanding.

Letting go – an unofficial path to wellbeing
Most of us carry around things which affect our wellbeing. This article focuses on the “relatively” simple things that we can all start to let go of. Individuals can often generate a whole sack full of things; some of them bug you consciously whilst others just gnaw away at you out of your conscious attention. You may keep yourself excessively busy to avoid feeling the impact on you and even on your health. How often do you hear people say, “My energy suddenly dropped yesterday….with no reason for it!” Their response is often to take a pill or an energy bar; how much better would it be to look for the cause and let this one go for ever? So an unofficial path is the journey less often taken in our modern world - being curious about ourselves offers such incredible possibilities and opportunities to positively change our experience of health and wellbeing.

Learning Tarot Intuitively
People often ask me how to go about learning to read the tarot. There are many decks available and often these have very comprehensive books along with them. This is one way to go about learning the traditional meanings of your deck, or the meanings the authors intended, however there is another way to use the cards. This involves stretching your intuitive muscles, learning to trust the little nudges your inner voice directs to you, often through your imagination. I explain how to do this below.
